On Sunday morning we went to church and enjoyed an awesome day of worship. God is continuing to work in the hearts of His people and He was definitely present in our services today. I continue to stand in awe of God and the way He is using our church to touch lives and save souls. Todd preached today that we can have peace in this world even with all that is going on. He said that when Jesus arose from the grave, the first thing He said was "Do not be afraid." I am so glad we serve a risen Savior who has conquered sin and death, and gives us life more abundantly. We sang this chorus today that I love. It talks about that we can have peace all because He lives. "Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because I know He holds the future and life is worth the living just because He lives!"
After church, we went to Todd and Paige's for lunch. Mr. John and Ms. Becky spoiled the kids with Easter presents. Ms. Becky got the kids a stuffed rabbit, homemade Easter sugar cookies, and a card. Mr. John got them a huge lollipop. We laughed at Dalton trying to fit the entire lollipop in his mouth at one time. The lollipop was as big as he is!
