Take me to the Zoo!

We went to the Memphis Zoo on the first day of summer break with Gran'. Dalton was so excited to see the animals, mostly the elephants. We got to go to a sealion show, ride on the bus, and ride on the carousel. He was a trooper. We tried to talk him into riding in the stroller, but he was determined to walk and did walk the entire zoo the whole day. Needless to say, the boy was worn out by the time the day was over. I think he was asleep about 2 minutes after we got out of the parking lot. He said his favorite thing was the fountains. Most of the day, he was looking for the next fountain instead of looking at the animals!

Okay, this was pretty funny. Dalton saw this tree with a hole cut out in it and the cute little panda bear in the hole. On his own, he sat down in the hole and began posing for the camera. The boy is becoming very photogenic for the paparazzi!

I'm telling you...very photogenic!

Favorite part of all was the fountains! We go to the zoo and he likes the fountains...go figure. I think he will love Wild River Country!

Thanks Gran'! As you can see, Gran' could not let us leave the zoo without a some souveniers...a hat and a t-shirt. We had a great time at the zoo!
